Our History

The Fort Morgan community is that part of the Fort Morgan peninsula located west of the Gulf Shores city limits in unincorporated Baldwin County. The east end is located at approximately the 14.7 mile mark on Highway 180, just east of Newberry Road. The west end is located at the end of the peninsula on the site of Historic Fort Morgan. Since 1983, the Fort Morgan Civic Association (FMCA) has been the voice of the Fort Morgan community.​

Keep our beach dark, flat, and clean for our visiting mamas and hatchlings. Sea Turtle Nesting Season ends October 31.

Thank you to everyone who participated & supported the Fort Morgan Seafood Festival co-sponsored by FMCA. Saturday, May 9th was cancelled due to Tropical thunderstorms, but Sunday May 10th was a fabulous sunny day for the Fort Morgan Community to enjoy while supporting Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Dept.
