Our History

The Fort Morgan community is that part of the Fort Morgan peninsula located west of the Gulf Shores city limits in unincorporated Baldwin County. The east end is located at approximately the 14.7 mile mark on Highway 180, just east of Newberry Road. The west end is located at the end of the peninsula on the site of Historic Fort Morgan. Since 1983, the Fort Morgan Civic Association (FMCA) has been the voice of the Fort Morgan community.​

FMCA Special Meeting

Monthly Meeting Location

Our monthly member meetings take place the second Monday of each month in the Fellowship Hall of the Shell Banks Church (North Entrance). The hall is located in the north end of the church building on Hwy. 180 and has its own entrance on the north (Bay) side. The church grounds border Gasque Lane just across from Fire Station #1 at about the 12-mile marker.
